Nonprofits are essential to how our communities function, and right now they are at risk. Across Oregon, organizations delivering housing, healthcare, food access, and other critical services are facing rising demand, unstable funding, delayed payments, and increasing administrative burdens. These challenges reflect a system that relies on nonprofits without providing the coordinated support needed to sustain them. If nonprofits destabilize, services do not shift elsewhere. They disappear.
